Asano Japanese traditional Sickle Hoe (NejiriKama). For the pruning work of the weed. This product is completely made in Japan. ‘Hagane-tsuke (forge welding of steel),’ which is engraved in the blade, is a traditional technique used by Japanese blacksmiths to forge weld a thin sheet of steel onto a base of thick, soft iron. The steel is heated and hit with a hammer, by hand or by machine, in order to bring out steel’s strong and durable qualities. This process is used to create blades with an extremely sharp edge. Also, due to the two layer structure combining iron and steel, the blade maintains its sharpness well. Asano Japanese traditional Sickle Hoe (NejiriKama)
